2nd Chance

A second chance? Why not ?  ✔️

More than 400 million tonnes of plastics are produced worldwide each year, almost half is used by the packaging industry, mainly to manufacture single-use packaging and bags ☢️. (Atlas du plastique 2020).

On average, each person produces 1.2kg of waste per day 🚯. Counting 7.5 billion people on earth, that's 9 billion kg of waste per day, or 9 million tonnes per day of waste produced. We can state that the number of waste to be managed every day is blow minding 🤯

Most of this waste ends up in landfills. Fortunately, recycling and composting is possible and offered in most municipalities around the city of Montreal. In addition to reducing the waste we produce, these practices create an almost infinite cycle ♻️ of the materials we use, and it can even create energy ⚡️

Try to give a 2nd chance to all the products you use. If recycling is not possible, make sure to dispose waste products properly in order to reduce our ecological footprint 💪.

We believe that the majority of people are more or less interested in recycling and this number seems to increase every year, whether at the personal or industrial level 🤓.

Unfortunately, when in doubt, we always choose the easier option, which is to throw everything in the trash, it's only a matter of habit.

In fact, a study conducted in Ontario revealed that 85% of the tissues consumed end up in the trash. Why ? indifference or ignorance ?

We understand that it's not easy to know everything 😵! But luckily, the government decided to enlighten us. This link will allow you to know "how" and "where" to dispose any unconventional waste  :
